What does an event production company do for a financial services conference?
An event production company manages the technical side of your event from first planning call to final load-out: production planning and budgeting, vendor coordination, show design, show calling, stage management, and on-site supervision. Choyce Creative specializes in financial services events, including investor summits, alternative investment conferences, fintech and crypto conferences, and investor days, where the audience is sophisticated and there is little room for error.
What is the difference between a production company and an AV company?
An AV company provides and operates equipment: screens, audio, lighting, and cameras. A production company owns the whole show: planning, vendor coordination, show calling, speaker management, and on-site execution. We are a production management and technical direction company, not an AV rental house. We source equipment through trusted local vendors in each market and manage those relationships on your behalf.
Are you an event agency?
Not in the traditional sense. Traditional event agencies own strategy, venue, registration, and the full attendee experience. Choyce Creative is an event production company with in-house creative: we own the show itself, from technical planning and vendor coordination to show calling, stage management, and motion graphics. We plug into your internal events team, or into your agency, as the production partner.
What does a technical director do at a live event?
A technical director oversees the event's technical and logistical execution: coordinating vendors, managing schedules, overseeing load-in and strike, and making sure every department is aligned. On show day, a dedicated show caller runs the rundown and calls every cue, from graphics and audio to lighting and transitions, so the show runs without hesitation or dead air.
Can you livestream our conference?
Yes. We produce multi-camera livestreams for credentialed private audiences and public broadcasts, with dedicated internet circuits, backup connectivity, and a backup encoder built in. For SALT, we have delivered multi-camera livestreams from Bermuda to Jackson Hole to London. When venue internet is not viable, we deploy alternatives such as the custom Starlink network we built for the SALT Wyoming Blockchain Symposium.
Do you create graphics and stage content?
Yes. Our motion designers create animated lower thirds and titles, speaker and sponsor graphics, LED wall stage content and backgrounds, and social media assets, all built to your brand and optimized for the screens at your venue.
Do you produce events outside New York?
Yes. Our team is based in New York City, Washington, D.C., and Baton Rouge, and we have produced events in 6 countries on 3 continents: the United States, Bermuda, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Hong Kong, and Thailand. That includes multi-venue series like SALT, from Bermuda to Jackson Hole to London.
