Case Study: Producing a Global Event Series for SALT
How Choyce Creative became the production partner behind one of finance's most influential conference brands, from Bermuda to Wyoming to London.
The Challenge
SALT is a global thought leadership forum at the intersection of finance, technology, and geopolitics. Founded by Anthony Scaramucci, SALT has become one of the most recognized brands in the alternative investment world, hosting heads of state, Fortune 500 CEOs, and leading fund managers across multiple continents.
In 2023, SALT launched a new series of boutique, invite-only events designed to foster deeper conversations in more intimate settings. Each event would take place in a different part of the world, with distinct branding, programming, and logistical challenges:
- Bermuda Digital Finance Forum: A fintech and digital assets summit held in partnership with the Bermuda Business Development Agency on a remote island with limited local production resources.
- Wyoming Blockchain Symposium: A crypto-focused event in Jackson Hole, timed strategically around the Federal Reserve's annual symposium, bringing together policymakers, founders, and investors.
- SALT London: SALT's first UK event, held at the newly opened Chancery Rosewood in a converted former US Embassy, a venue with untested event operations.
SALT needed a production partner who could deliver consistent quality across wildly different environments, from tropical islands to mountain towns to luxury London venues, while adapting to the unique constraints of each location.
The Solution
Choyce Creative first connected with SALT through our work with iConnections, another leading brand in the alternative investment space, including the iConnections Global Alts Miami 2024 conference. When SALT's team began planning their 2023 event series, they reached out to see if we could bring the same level of execution and reliability to their new global format.
We signed on as the full production partner for all three events, responsible for:
- Audio-visual design and technical planning
- Multi-camera livestreaming
- LED wall content and graphics

Event Breakdown
Bermuda Digital Finance Forum
Bermuda presented the most significant logistical challenge. As an island territory, there are no large-scale AV vendors or local production crews available. Every piece of equipment had to be sourced from the mainland and shipped in advance.
We deployed a lean two-person team to manage large LED walls, multi-camera livestreaming, and wireless audio across multiple venues in downtown Hamilton. Despite the constraints, the event ran flawlessly, and our ability to adapt impressed both the SALT team and the Bermuda BDA.
Wyoming Blockchain Symposium
Jackson Hole is a stunning location, but it's also remote, expensive, and lacks significant event infrastructure. The venue's internet costs were astronomical, and local vendors had limited equipment availability.
We designed and deployed a custom satellite internet solution that bypassed the venue's expensive connectivity, providing reliable coverage for both staff and attendees at a fraction of the cost. Equipment and crew were transported from across the country to ensure we had everything needed for a polished, professional production.
SALT London
London was a homecoming of sorts for SALT, which hadn't held a UK event in years. The venue, the newly opened Chancery Rosewood, a converted former US Embassy, was spectacular but untested for large-scale conferences.
We coordinated an overnight load-in with a four-person crew, navigating the venue's operational learning curve in real time. The result was a seamless, high-end production that matched the prestige of the location and the caliber of the attendees.
Creative & Content
Beyond technical production, Choyce Creative handled all event branding and content needs:
- Custom stage graphics and LED wall content for each event
- Speaker title cards and lower thirds
- Social media content captured and edited on-site
- Event photography and highlight reels
